HOW TO SWITCH

Log into www.viridian.com/srfenergy and the information is there on the website.  You can be set up immediately.  You have the option to call or set up on line.  Just click in the top right hand corner where it reads Become a Customer and follow the instructions.  You only need to have your utility bill handy.

Quick Reference Instructions for switching to Viridian on line

Visit    WWW.VIRIDIAN.COM/SRFENERGY

Step 1 – Click on Become a Customer (top right hand corner of the screen)

Step 2 – Enter your information

• Enter your zip code and select your current local utility company
• Select Account Class (Residential or Small Commercial)
•Select Rate Plan
20%  Everyday Green which indicates 20% of the energy is from recyclable sources
100% Pure Green which indicates the energy is produced 100% from Wind and Solar

***  Both rates will cost less than your local utilities rate, but most folks choose the 20% Everyday Green Plan since it is a bit cheaper (generally .75 of a CENT per Kwh)

Step 3 – Enter your Name and Utility Account Information

•Enter your first and last name
•Enter utility account information
•For PSE&G customers - this will be a POD ID which is a PE number in the electric section of your bill – it starts with PE and is followed by 18 numbers
•For JCP&L customers, this is a customer number which is a 20 digit number found on your energy bill
•For ACE customers – this will be your account number on your bill
•Enter your Service address and enter your Billing address

Step 4 – Enter your contact Information

•Enter your Telephone number and email address
•Electronically sign the agreement by typing in your name.
•You must check off the Terms and Conditions verification box underneath the signature in order to finish the application process. You may click on “Customer Terms and Conditions” to read the detailed terms and conditions.
CLICK ON FINISH – Congratulations, you are now a Viridian Customer!
 
What to expect after you have successfully switched

You will receive a letter from your local utility in a couple of days informing you that you have switched electric supply providers and when your supply starts with Viridian (typically, you will need to finish your current monthly cycle with your local utility).    

Please be aware:
If your energy bill is on a budget plan, the plan will not remain in effect.

Beyond The Finish Line: 

Stories of Ex-Racehorses is a new coffee table book highlighting 22 equestrians who have adopted ex-race horses (both Standardbreds and Thoroughbreds) and have retrained them for other disciplines and activities.  Several are SRF horses involved in halter classes, jumping, eventing, trail riding, civil war re-enactment and the mounted police.

The book was written by Loren Spiotta-DiMare of Tewksbury, NJ.  Loren has had 10 books and numerous magazine articles about animals published in her 30-plus-year career.  The exquisite photos in Beyond The Finish Line were taken by equine photographer, Martin Kavanagh of Aberdeen.
