SRF WISHLIST

Please contact the SRF office if you need more information or have items to donate. Each tax deductible donation goes a long way in helping to care for the 175 horses we currently have in the program. These are things we desperately need to continue helping these majestic horses.

•Land or farm to care for our horses. This is very much needed as our lease is quickly running out.
•Hay and outdoor hay racks of any size. As the weather cools, our need for hay increases.
•Sponsorships for our permanently retired horses.
•100 gallon water troughs. The horses can't live without them!
•Leather halters, preferably horse/full sized
•Lead ropes
•Grooming supplies, especially mane brushes, detangler, and hoof picks
•Wormers and vaccines, an expensive part of necessary routine care.
•A second farrier to keep the horses' feet in tip top shape
•Grant writing skills. If you have experience with grant writing, please give us a call!
•Volunteers! We need help with everything from barn work to office support. We need help with events, fundraising, shipping, and of course, barn chores.
•Help with our youth programs.
•Items to auction at our events, such as tickets for sporting events, shows, and travel, art, tack... and anything else you can think of! Feel free to use your imagination.
•A truck or tractor to use around the farm. There's only so much you can do with a wheel barrow!
•Horse guardians who will check on SRF horses in their part of the US.
•Foster homes for horses who are being rehabilitated.
